Beautiful Classic elegant canvas bag with plenty of room for everything I like to carry

I've had one myself for 5+ years and have been delighted with it. Got one for my son as a Christmas gift and he's pleased as can be. Great product. Still looks good, works great after all these years. Highly recommended. Easy to use, easy to roll, well organized. It holds more stuff than it looks like it would. It is a little difficult to unpack and pack. Wonderful! Very large, perfect!

I bought this for my mother-in-law. She really likes it! Scored points for me. This was an excellent replacement for my husband's old wallet. It has all the compartments he needs and is still compact enough to fit in his back pocket. Would have liked a little more open space and less built in organizers. The shoulder strap is why I bought it and that is convenient. I never like to set down my purse, I always keep the strap over my shoulder. It stays over my shoulder better than shoulder purses I have worn in the past. I carry my own coin purse and wallet inside my purse in addition to 2 small credit card/drivers license organizers of my own. At first the purse seemed hard to snap closed but the leather is soft and stretches enought to fold over and snap shut. I have adjusted to the smaller size. I put this item to good use right after it arrived. It was wonderful! Takes a little more effort to open it than I expected - but kept me dry and no problem in the high wind. I have had shoulder problems for years and carrying purses just made the problem worse. This bag has truly helped with the pain I was experiencing. Relief and good looks in one bag. Now that's a deal!


I love this bag ! I am the envy of my classmates. Going to school for medical administration, I have to carry a large number of manuals and textbooks, this bag handles them well. I call this my office on wheels. I do wish there were additional pockets on the outside of the bag but other then that the quality of the canvas grocery bags is top notch and I expect to use it for a very long time. A perfect cmpanion bag for all the necesary items that I lug around with me, from wallet, cell phone, PDA, to newspapers, books, and lunch! I love the outside zipper pocket for my cellphone. I also like having two exterior zipper pockets on each side. The only thing that would make this bag better was if the interior had two separate areas, and if it cost less. Bought this wallet for my husband. He loved the thin style, the color, and the design. It always generates lots of compliments. It can be a little awkward to handle when it's being carried by hand rather than positioned on the body. This is a great bag. Made very well, convenient compartments...and the suede trim gives it a polished look. I love it and highly recommend it...great price too! I like the versatility of being able to switch between a shoulder bag and back-pack. The construction is sturdy. However, the main compartment could offer more room for storage.

It is very handy for packing items for different activities. I'm pleased with it and will get a lot of use out of it. Over all a great item. I use mine as a purse and with 3 small children, it works wonders. It's easy to hold onto and has alot of storage. Everything else is great. It really does make the bag seem lighter while on the shoulder. It takes some getting used to the diffeent shape, but overall I like it. I think it is a well designed bag. Though I first thought the bag was a bit odd looking, it turns out to be very comfortable and truly does distribute the weight much better than traditional handbags. I love the Mini retro messenger bag as much as I use it every day

My first contact with the backpack was a healthy chance of buying I did a little painting that I used for a two-week trip in Italy. The carrying strap was too large and did not fit my right shoulder, so I substituted a strap that I had. A wallet on a chain eliminates the problem of where to keep my cash, credit cards, driver's license, Maglite - comes in handy real! - If I still have what I need without having to lug around a big purse.
